Can SupraTile be used in battery rooms?
While it can be used in battery areas it’s really not the correct choice for long term acid exposure. If a client did want to use them, then over time they could get degraded and some of the acid could leak through the joints so for something fast and inexpensive, then yes they would work but if there is a lot of acid dripping they may need to be replaced in a few years.
We do though offer our Armorpoxy Novalac Acid/Chemical Resistant coating system that is a 2 layer special epoxy system that can be self applied, and we could make up ready-to-install kits for your dealers. This is the same coating system we sell for chrome plating facilities and similar.
