Does the floor need to be level for SupraTile installation?

For SupraTile Interlocking Tiles, gradual floor unevenness or overall slope is generally acceptable, as the tiles will conform to the contour of the surface. However, any divots, gouges, or localized low spots should be repaired and leveled with a floor patch prior to installation to ensure the tiles interlock properly. If the unevenness is more severe, you may want to consider a non-hidden joint tile, such as our full-joint industrial tile, which is more forgiving in these conditions.
