Flakes are Sticking Up and Sharp?
This can happen with any type of flake based on application method, the thickness of the basecoat, and how many flakes you covered the floor with. Many of the pieces stand straight and cure, causing a sharp edge.
To take care of this, you will have to sand the floor using a 100 Grit Sanding Screen/Wheel to knock off any and all sharp edges, before finishing with a second topcoat to ensure complete encapsulation.
