How to Use Glitter Powder and Flakes for Epoxy Floor?

Powder:

  1. Prep the concrete by using a diamond grinder or shot blaster (much better than an acid wash).
  2. Fill cracks.
  3. If there is any concern about moisture release or outgassing, seal the concrete.
  4. Apply pigmented basecoat and let cure.
  5. Lay down a clear and blow the glitter onto it with a hopper/texture gun (we recommend Wagner Power Tex Texture Gun).
  6. Apply a top clear coat to encapsulate the glitter.
